This was a Beautiful Wedding for Alex and Irene. They did a destination wedding at Bernardus Lodge in Monterey California where their family and friends from all over the world came to visit. The bride was from Russia and the Grooms Family was from Ukraine. This wedding took place just a couple weeks after the invasion of Ukraine and was a beautiful reminder of love during such a scary time for their countries.
Irene had a white, sage green and pink wedding colors. They were subtly spread throughout the wedding and reception. During the ceremony they had music played by a harpist in the Rose Garden at Bernardus Lodge. The Lodge also offers accommodations for them and their family which is important because they are somewhat remote (15-20 minutes away from town). Tucked into the foothills near Monterey California.

Wasn’t that a gorgeous wedding! It was so much fun and everyone loved dancing. The venue was close enough to enjoy the bay breeze but far enough that no one had to worry about the bustle and tourists in Monterey California. The staff at Bernardus are extremely accommodating and help make your wedding as relaxing as possible.
