This was such a beautiful fall elopement in Glacier National Park. Lisa and Victor have been planning this day for a year. About 4 days before their wedding we had some bad weather and Going to the sun road was closed. We came up with an elternate plan and kept moving forward.
The day before their wedding the road reopened! It was so exciting! Suddenly Lisa’s vision was once again possible. I was sure to bring extra umbrellas though and they came in handy. We had sun, rain, snow and SUPER thick fog as we drove through Glacier National Park. It wasn’t the most comfortable wedding but it made for one of a kind images! When we hit big bend the fog was so thick you couldn’t see anything. It continued to thicken as they privately exchanged vows. Then just when we were about to head back a strong breeze came through and blew the fog clear!
There were Clouds all around us but we could see those beautiful Glacier peaks. Not every Glacier National Park fall elopement will turn out how you dream it. However every wedding will be unique and beautiful.
Thank you so much for reading! I hope you enjoyed the gallery and it can inspire your Glacier National Park Elopement. This one took place at Big Bend and Going to the Sun Road.
