I do this so when the tough times come, you have good times to lean on. Good memories to pull you out, to remind you that just like a wedding life is full of highs and lows.
That's what makes it beautiful
Glacier National Park is huge! So planning a wedding at Glacier National Park can be a daunting task. Now I have several detailed blog posts about this that I will link below but here is a general idea of how much time you should plan on booking depending on what area of the park you want to get married in.
This is the most popular area of the Glacier National Park and for good reason. It is the most convenient and the only area that has a road running from the East to West areas. This includes Lake McDonald to St. Mary's. To get pictures and a tour along the whole road you need to book 3-4 hours. You can do half of it for 2 hours if you are working with a smaller budget.
Two Medicine is located on the east side of Glacier National Park and is known for being a less populated area. It is frequented by wildlife and boasts still lakes, a ferry, and several trails to find waterfalls and wildflowers. My minimum booking for this location is 3 hours but most couples will opt for a 6+ hour package to capture the ferry ride and waterfalls.
Many Glacier is located on the North East side of Glacier National Park and is known for its beauty and wildlife. Specifically Grizzly and Moose. Some of the most spectacular trails are located here. They have two ferries and waterfalls throughout the park but the most popular thing is the Grinnel Glacier Trail. Most clients that elope here book 4-10 hours so they can hike (or ride horseback) to more remote areas. If you don't want to travel far though there is tons to see by car with minimal hiking involved.
Polebridge is a small town on the Northwest side of Glacier National park. It offers cabins and a Mercantile with a true Frontier town atmosphere. This area is known for being quiet, private, and serene. Bowman Lake is beautiful! This area boasts TONS of aspens and Mountain views. Most people book 3-6 hours here getting ready in Polebridge and traveling to Bowman for the ceremony.
Lake McDonald is the MOST POPULAR are of Glacier National Park. It is easily accessible through the west entrance. There are tons of people and places here so I only accept bookings during certain dates/times to avoid the crowds. You can book 1 - 6 hours here. We will visit the most popular places as well as some local gems.
That was a lot of information! Now here are some Links

You can always upgrade your package after booking to add more time or al la carte items. Retainers are non refundable however you can use them toward a future session.
Most clients book 3-4 hours minimum. depending on what area of the park you want to take pictures in. I have a guide below e to help determine how much time you will need.
A retainer reserves your date/time. It ensures that I am your photographer and means I have accepted you as my client. From here I can start helping you with planning and creating an itinerary.
Reach out ASAP. I am booked up to a year in advance but have done elopements as close to two days after booking. There is not straight answer to this you really need to reach out and ask.
Awesome !!! Kimberly was great ! We had such a wonderful and memorable time in GNP !! She is so nice and easy to get along with. My nervousness and anxiety were gone within seconds of meeting Kimberly. We laughed so much it shows in the photos. I knew as soon as I viewed Kimberly's fb page photos that she was the photographer for us. We were able to pull this elopement off with 3 weeks of planning !! She was a tremendous help. Her husband officiated the ceremony and he was great too!! We requested a bear to photo bomb us and not sure how she did it but a bear showed up while we were driving the GTTSR !! She was able to get some incredible photos of this bear !!! It was truly a magical time !! Highly recommend KTay Photography !!! We are so happy we found her !!!

"We were so happy to do a photo session with Kimberly in Glacier National Park. She is without a doubt a very talented photographer. Even though my husband and I aren't the best models she managed to guide us around while making us feel comfortable and the photographs turned out stunning. Can highly recommend a session with Kimberly

"Kimberly was amazing!! This was our first time getting pictures professionally done and she made us feel comfortable. She knew all the best spots and best angles to get the most beautiful pics. She also gave us a link within a day to see some of the pictures before she finalized them. Totally recommend her to anyone looking to get their pictures done!
